A Portrait party is a fun and affordable opportunity for you, your family, friends and neighbors to have professional quality portraits made in the comfort of your own home or other suitable location.

The Portrait Party is organized by a host. The host provides the location and invites the guests. A minimim of 5 'families' are required to qualify for a portrait party. So it is a good idea to schedule as many as 8 to 10 families to guarantee a successful party. Please note that if a minimum of 5 families do not show for the party a $225.00 setting fee is charged to the host.

Avoid a setting fee if at least 5 families attend your party.

Recieve 20 percent of print sales from your party in the form of credits for your own prints, and maybe even earn cash.

The host can expect the photographer to bring professional lighting equipment and cameras. If the host provides a location of interest, then that location can be used as the background. In any case a black backdrop will be provided by the photographer.

All successful images will be uploaded to a special viewing location on the P. Ellison Photography website. Each image will be identified by a file number by which orders may be made. Orders are payable at the time of order.

Once all orders have been placed by the party particiapates, then the host's credit is calculated and the host may then order their prints.

The average time required for a party is 2 to 4 hours. Allow 30 minutes before and after for setup and cleanup of the 'studio' and lighting.
